Throughout 2024, men consistently made up the majority of interviewed migrants — a sample of 3540 individuals selected from the total migrant population (19603 individuals) registered by the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (SCRM) — never accounting for less than 81%.
According to the monthly reports provided by the IOM – Serbia website, the highest percentage of women was recorded in September (19%), while the lowest was in January 2024 (3%).
