Terraforming is an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit organization founded in 2008 and based in Novi Sad, Serbia, with an active presence and project activities across Europe. Terraforming specializes in raising awareness and educating about the Holocaust, antisemitism, and antigypsyism. They act as a bridge between educational, cultural, and archival institutions in Serbia and partners worldwide to strengthen the culture of remembrance and combat historical distortion.
Activities
- Educational Development: Designing innovative educational methodologies, training programs, and teaching materials that combine contemporary pedagogy with new-media technologies.
- Empowering Multipliers: Organizing international exchanges, seminars, and training sessions specifically tailored for educators, librarians, archivists, museum professionals, and NGO activists.
- Public Outreach & Networking: Leading public outreach initiatives, foster cross-sectoral international project collaborations, and create exhibitions, publications, and podcasts (such as Terratalks).
- Policy & Advocacy: Engaging in initiatives that inform local communities and influence decision-makers and policymakers.
