Obectives: Cooperativa Sociale Santa Caterina ONLUS carries out activities aimed at the social integration of asylum seekers and their employment inclusion.The Cooperative collaborates in this process with local institutions (Police Headquarters, Prefecture, Social Services, Municipalities, and Foundations), with the aim of helping asylum seekers understand and claim their rights and responsibilities, in order to achieve full autonomy.
Activities:
- Concrete and continuous support is provided to asylum seekers hosted in various facilities, managed under an agreement with the Prefecture of Siena
- Attention to individual needs starts from the very first moment of taking charge of the asylum seeker, through an initial informational interview.
- Continuous monitoring is carried out over time.The aim is to help each person improve their skills in education and training.
